Played in a golf tournament today with three friends..Randy, Nanci, and Cody.
It was a fundraiser for my wife's office. She works for a non-profit called the Cookeville Pregnancy Clinic. We had an excellent time and played quite well. Our team shot a round of 57 (which is 15 strokes under par) at White Plains Golf Course in Algood, TN. Special thanks to Dean Hutson with Common Sense Publishing and volunteers (our 14 year old was among those volunteers!) with the CPC for putting on such an excellent event.
The winning team shot 22 under par...unbelievable! One of our team members, Nanci, had the longest drive for the ladies.
Temperatures were in the 90's and the heat index was near 100°...
