And The Rains Came

We finally broke the dry spell (at least for a day). As of right now, we've recorded 2.01" for the day.

The showers and thunderstorms started around 11:15 this morning with the heaviest storms being recorded in the first 30 minutes. It did continue to rain for much of the afternoon. I can already tell the grass is beginning to turn green in some spots.

Tonight, the air is pure, it is clean-smelling outside. The atmosphere has been cleansed.
