PLAYING GOLF...............
Just got back from playing in a golf outing with Frontier Communications at the Cookeville Golf Club. Can you say smokin' hot??!!! My team shot 13 strokes under par. Not too bad. The temperatures were TOUGH!

HOT WEATHER...................
At our 9 a.m. tee time, temperatures were right at 87° with the heat index running 90° plus. By the time we finished at 12:45, it was 98° with a heat index of 105°!!

Currently at 2 pm, it's 99 with the heat index running 105.

FORECAST....................
We'll actually cool off a little in our 7-day forecast with some chances for rain.
