Revisting Katrina

An amazing post from James Spann of ABC 33/40 in Birmingham, AL regarding Hurricane Katrina.

I'll go first.

My opinion is the City of New Orleans and the State of Louisiana knew of the danger of Katrina. They warned residents but then did nothing else. There next step was to blame EVERYTHING on the FEMA response. We all agree it could have gone better. Did you know the convention center was never an emergency shelter? Residents broke into it and made it a shelter...
