Mid 70's today! WOW! Rains come for Friday and Saturday.
Great post over at the News 2 Weather Blog concerning our winter shortfall on precipitation. I ran my own numbers and found the same thing.
I just checked the CoCoRaHS site and I’ve measured 10.80″ since 12/1 while two other stations here in Putnam County has measured 9.95 and 10.97 respectively…I checked our average since 1914 and we should have had about 15.08″ in those three months.
While it is not as bad as most of 2007, we are still running a shortfall in 2008.
