Morning Break from Rain

Beautiful sunshine this morning! Temperatures are mainly in the mid 50's.

We do see rain on the radar near Memphis and in Arkansas. This rain will move toward us throughout the day. Don't believe the intensity will reach severe limits. Remember, to issue a Severe Thunderstorm Warning, the NWS must believe that winds of greater than 58 mph and hail at least 3/4" in diameter could occur from a particular storm. Memphis Radar snap from 9:14 am.

Latest, local forecast

The Spotter Training class was very interesting yesterday. I encourage all you weather buffs to attend!

Hey Mike! I was just letting you know that we have had good rains here this morning! My golf game didn't get through, we were on the 12th about to go to the 13th when the Thunder Rolled! My score was awful, but hey...It's all for fun! Have a great day!
