Winter Storm Watch

Typical for Tennessee in March. We have flowers popping up through the ground and then we'll have snow on them!

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for us for midnight Friday through noon on Saturday.

Here's the official word from the NWS.

...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM FRIDAY EVENING THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE TO SNOW EARLY FRIDAY EVENING.

SNOW COULD BE HEAVY AT TIMS FRIDAY NIGHT...WITH EXPECTED AMOUNTS ACROSS MOST OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE FROM 1 TO 4 INCHES.

EVEN GREATER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL COUNTIES...DEPENDING ON THE EXACT TRACK OF THE STORM SYSTEM.

SNOW SHOWERS WILL LINGER INTO SATURDAY MORNING...POSSIBLY ADDINGUP TO ANOTHER INCH OF ACCUMULATION.
