Developing Weather

We are watching Severe Weather break out over Arkansas this afternoon. They are currently under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for much of the state and several counties in SW Arkansas are under Severe Thunderstorm Warnings.

We expect much of this weather to move into Tennessee overnight. I believe most of the severe weather will settle down before reaching Middle Tennessee.

A better chance for big storms invades our area by Friday. We'll continue to keep an eye on that system.

It was just a GORGEOUS day here on the Plateau...our high temperature ended up being 75.3° today on my station. Wished I could have played golf instead of working! :)

Hey Mike, do you think that the weather here will be intense or weaken consederably?

Charles...I'm thinking it will weaken (if you're talking about tonight...of course)....if you're talking about Thursday night/Friday morning, we'll need to wait just a bit before making a call on it.
