Back here in Tennessee, it has been hot for the 2nd day in a row. Highs pushed to near 90 (88.5°) in Cookeville today.
At 5 pm, temperatures range from 91 in Chattanooga, Murfreesboro, Millington, and at the NWS office in Memphis down to 85 in Crossville, Dickson, and Clarksville. Heat Index is currently 100° in Millington in West Tennessee.
