Sunday Update

I am feeling a little better today. Went to church this morning (had camera duties) for a while. Back home now and taken more medication. Not supposed to be driving while I take this medicine.

On the weather front, it is been quite warm and muggy. Typically, this (from late July-early August) is the hottest time of the year for Tennessee. Our week ahead appears to be hot once again as highs will stay right around 90 and lows will be in the lower 70's.

This Drought Information Statement has been released by the Nat'l Weather Service.

How about this piece of interesting information from the NWS-Nashville.

On July 27, 1952...

Temperature at Nashville reaches 107, setting an all-time record high. Other record highs include Clarksville (110).
