It has been a typical mid-July week here in Tennessee. Temperatures have been in the 90's for much of the state and conditions are very dry. The only good news is low temperatures at night have fallen into the 60's! Very comfy at night.
We'll see much of the same through the weekend as highs remain in the upper 80's to lower 90's here on the Highland Rim. Expect warmer temperatures to our west and cooler temperatures in the higher elevations of the Cumberland Plateau.

Great post from Brian Smith about the possibilities of tropical activity affecting us by the late weekend. Interesting!
