Credibility Issues

Some in the global warming hysteria community lack credibility.

Such was the case recently when the GISS (Goodard Institute For Space Studies) issued a report saying October 2008 was the hottest on record. GISS, run by Al Gore buddy Dr. James Hansen, issued this in spite of the FACTS below...

  • 63 Snowfall Records in the U.S.
  • 115 lowest-ever temperatures recorded
  • Tibet suffered worst snowstorm ever
  • 70th warmest October in the last 114 years

Well, apparently it was some sort of clerical error where they were using September numbers unknowingly. As they quickly moved to fix their error when informed of it, I don't see how it harms their credibility.

I think where the credibility issue lies, in my eyes, is in the way they present their arguments as facts. Ignoring a bunch of data for an agenda. The agenda is what is so frustrating. Thanks for comments Maynard!
