Dangerous Black Ice

As one looks out a window this morning, you almost have to do a 'double-take' to see if that was snow, ice, or frost on the ground.  Upon further investigation, it was frost with a combination of frozen precipitation!  I noticed black ice had formed on our neighborhood streets.  It should melt as the sun rises and more traffic hits the street.

Just a little more than 3/4 of an inch of rain yesterday here in Cookeville.  We needed it.  I'll update later with complete rainfall totals for the month of November and for 2008.  We'll do a comparison of where we stand versus the norm.
