Coldest Night So Far...

LATE NIGHT LOOK
Bitterly cold temperatures overnight here in Cookeville, TN as we'll be down to single digits by sunrise.  Wind chills are currently around 0° for most of our area.

Many temperatures across Tennessee are in the lower teens as I write this post just after 11 pm central time.  Even colder air is spilling into our area from the northwest as stations in western sections of Kentucky are already in the single digits.

*Latest, Local Forecast* shows a prediction of 10° for our overnight low.  It is possible for that to be revised downward a few more degrees as we are already at 14°.

Tomorrow's highs struggle to reach 30° under a sunny sky.  Then things get interesting after a low on Monday night back in the teens.  Tuesday's forecast is for a WINTRY MIX.  Since the ground will be so cold, anything that falls will cause hazardous driving conditions.

WAY TO GO TENNESSEE TITANS!  Claimed home field advantage with a 31-14 dismantling of the Pittsburg Steelers!  My toes are still defrosting....
