Freezing Rain Advisory...

Temperatures have continued to fall tonight and the National Weather Service out of Nashville has now issued a FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY.

...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A FREEZING
RAIN
 ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST TUESDAY.

THIS ADVISORY INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES IN MIDDLE TN...CLAY
...PICKETT...JACKSON...OVERTON...FENTRESS...SMITH...PUTNAM...
AND DEKALB.

A STRONG COLD FRONT IS USHERING IN COLDER AIR ACROSS THE MID
STATE TODAY. TEMPERATURES WILL DROP TO AROUND FREEZING THIS
EVENING. FREEZING RAIN...MAINLY AFTER MIDNIGHT...WILL PRODUCE ICE
ACCUMULATION OF ONE TO TWO TENTHS OF AN INCH IN SOME AREAS.

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
