Interesting Weather Ahead...

There is so much to go over tonight..so let's get right to it.

We've had a foggy, drizzle-filled day to deal with here.  Temperatures have fallen this afternoon and we expect more rain to develop overnight and on in to Thursday.  Late Thursday afternoon and Thursday night could be interesting.  More on that in a bit.

FLOOD WATCH has been issued for our area.  More than 3 inches of rain fell in the last 24 hours and has contributed to a water-logged ground.  Now, with another low forming and the chances of 2+ more inches of rain in the next 24 hours, the Flood Watch makes sense.

We are also watching a situation developing to where we may see ACCUMULATING SNOW for the eastern and southeastern Middle Tennessee area.  Davis Nolan at Nashville WX is all over this possibility in a couple of posts made earlier.

Latest, Local Forecast

If you'd like to join in on the Weather Discussion, I encourage you to visit Tennessee WX.  It is home to the Tennessee Weather Forum.  Interesting discussions going on for sure!

Be sure to keep up with the weather over the next 24 hours.  We could see an interesting scenario develop by this time tomorrow evening.  If it all plays out accordingly, I wouldn't be surprised to see some nice snow.

More later.
