Interesting Weather Day Ahead...

(click on picture for better view)
We awake this morning with .38" in the rain gauge and a morning temperature of 35.7°...a few more degrees cooler and this would have been a nice snow event! :)

Cold rain will fall most of the day as highs reach only into the upper 30's...we believe the rain will mix with and change to snow late this afternoon.  We could see accumulations of up to one-inch overnight.  Lows will be around 28° which could cause some slick spots on Friday morning.

Areas to our south are under Winter Weather Advisories.  There is snow falling in Louisiana as well as in south Mississippi (really rare for that area).  Northwest Alabama expects accumulating snow this afternoon and snow is possible in the southern sections of Alabama below Montgomery.
