Accumulating Snow Possible Later Tonight

Early today I told you about a clipper-type system that would be swinging through our area tonight.  At the time, the expectation was for little, if any, accumulation.

Well, as things do in the weather business, the thoughts have changed for this system.  There is now a Special Weather Statement and a Winter Weather Advisory issued for our area from midnight through 6 a.m.

Do I think we'll wakeup with 1-2 inches of snow on the ground?  It certainly is possible, although I've been through these situations before to wake up and only find green grass showing!

Hey Brother, hope it snows! Remember the fun we had growing up sleding down the hill on the first hole of Belle Acres?! Wish these kids could get the chance to experience real snow fun like that.
