More snow possible today (Sunday) and could have tough conditions again later
It is amazing what a little precipitation falling on roads that have been exposed to the bitter cold temperatures will create. A MESS!
Road conditions to my east are hazardous tonight. I-40 is in much better shape than just about 90 minutes ago. That being said, Highway 62 from Monterey to Clarkrange is slick. Hanging Limb Highway north of Monterey is dangerous. The Muddy Pond road off Hanging Limb Highway is very slick according to sheriff's deputies.
Temperatures are expected to rise overnight. This should help road conditions. Snow is expected tomorrow through Monday.
