Rainfall Report

Here is an update to our rainfall for the 2009 year.

Through today (Saturday, July 25th, 2009), we've received 6.84" during the month of July. This amount would put us in the top 20 rainiest Julys in history. Our recordkeeping goes back to 1914.

For the year, we stand at 40.49"....at this pace, we would end the year at 72.09" and that would rank 2009 as the 5th rainiest year ever.

A side note...we've already had more rain through the first 7 months of 2009 than in 2007 when just 36.75" was recorded for the entire year.

I'm sure most of us are glad to see the extra rainfall.
