.GRADIENT WINDS AND MIXING AHEAD OF A SURFACE TROUGH IS EXPECTED
TO PRODUCE SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES
THIS AFTERNOON. HIGHER WIND GUSTS WILL PRODUCE LOCAL RED FLAG

AFTERNOON RELATIVE HUMIDITIES ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE FROM 25 TO 35
PERCENT WITH WIND GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH...FROM THE SOUTHWEST.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A RED FLAG WARNING MEANS THAT CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE
EITHER OCCURRING NOW...OR WILL SHORTLY. A COMBINATION OF STRONG
WINDS...LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AND WARM TEMPERATURES CAN CREATE
EXPLOSIVE FIRE GROWTH POTENTIAL.
