Winter Weather Advisory Thru Tuesday

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON CST
TUESDAY. THE ADVISORY NOW INCLUDES ALL OF THE NORTHERN AND CENTRAL
PLATEAU.

* MAIN IMPACT: EXPECT 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOWFALL OVERNIGHT INTO
 TUESDAY.

* OTHER IMPACTS: MANY ROADS WILL BECOME SLICK AND TREACHEROUS.

.A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM DEVELOPING OVER TEXAS WILL PUSH NORTHEAST
TOWARD THE MID STATE OVERNIGHT. A RAIN AND SNOW MIX WILL CONTINUE
TO FALL OVER MUCH OF THE MID STATE OVERNIGHT. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS IN
THE ADVISORY AREAS SHOULD BE 1 TO 3 INCHES..

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW...SLEET...OR
FREEZING RAIN WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.
