Winter Weather Advisory Continues

We are beginning to see a wintry mix in the Cookeville area. More precipitation will stream into our area and create possible hazardous driving conditions after sunset.

Statement as of 4:06 PM CST on December 15, 2010

....Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Thursday...

* impacts: ice accumulations to one quarter inch are expected...
mainly this evening. This will create dangerous driving
conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
