....Winter Weather Advisory in effect until noon CST today...
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for the northern Cumberland Plateau...which is in
effect until noon CST today.
By mid morning...snow showers had produced an inch of accumulation
of snow in Fentress County...and additional snow showers are
forecast to move across all of the northern Cumberland Plateau
until noon. Snow accumulations of 1 inch will be common...with some
isolated amounts to two inches.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
