....Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM Thursday to 6 am
CST Friday...
The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow...which is in effect from 6 PM Thursday to
6 am CST Friday.
* Geographic area: Cumberland Plateau region
* timing: rain is expected to change to snow Thursday evening.
Snow will taper to scattered snow showers after midnight.
* Accumulations: 1 to 3 inches.
* Impacts: travel conditions are expected to become hazardous
Thursday and Thursday night.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
