Winter Weather Advisory and Update at 5 PM CDT

The following advisory is from the National Weather Service in Nashville, TN.

Winter Weather Advisory
Statement as of 3:38 PM CST on January 10, 2011

...Winter Weather Advisory in effect until 6 PM CST Tuesday...
...Winter Storm Warning is canceled...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for freezing drizzle and snow...which is in
effect until 6 PM CST Tuesday.

* Geographic area: some cities in the advisory area include
 Celina...Cookeville...Jamestown...Crossville...McMinnville...and
 Spencer.

* Accumulation: less than one tenth inch of freezing drizzle.
 Additional snow accumulation up to an inch...except 1 to 3
 inches of snow possible near the Kentucky and Tennessee border.

* Timing: valid through 6 PM Tuesday.

* Impacts: hazardous driving conditions will continue due to any
 freezing drizzle and snow that occurs.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while
driving.
