...Flood Watch in effect from Saturday morning through Saturday
evening...

The National Weather Service in Nashville has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of middle Tennessee...including the
following counties...Bedford...Benton...Cannon...Cheatham...
Clay...Coffee...Cumberland...Davidson...De Kalb...Dickson...
Fentress...Giles...Grundy...Hickman...Houston...Humphreys...
Jackson...Lawrence...Lewis...Macon...Marshall...Maury...
Montgomery...Overton...Perry...Pickett...Putnam...Robertson...
Rutherford...Smith...Stewart...Sumner...Trousdale...Van
Buren...Warren...Wayne...white...Williamson and Wilson.

* From Saturday morning through Saturday evening

* two to four inches of rainfall is expected across middle
Tennessee Saturday.

* Considering recent rains and high soil moisture...the rain
forecast on Saturday will cause flooding in low lying areas...
creeks and streams. River flooding is also possible.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
