A slight chance for rain and thunderstorms later today. Expect warm temperatures with a high near 80° this afternoon. The slight chance for showers and thunderstorms continues tonight. We are looking at a slight chance for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. The most likely scenario if severe storms develop are damaging winds and large hail. The area with the best chance to be affected is from Lafayette to Crossville.

It's been a warm March with the average high of 70.5° and an average low of 42.7°. Overall temperature has averaged 56.6° for March and that is 10° above normal.
