Bitter Cold

Good Monday morning friends.

VERY, VERY COLD
Temperatures in the Cookeville area at 7:15 am are around 6° and with winds running 5-15 mph out of the northwest, we have a wind chill reading down in the -5° to -10° range.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy with an occasional hint of sunshine. We'll have occasional flurries and temperatures will be near steady much of the day but will begin falling later in the day. Wind chills will remain below zero all day as gusts will hit 20-25 mph. DRESS APPROPRIATELY!!

Tonight, clearing skies and bitterly cold with lows in the -1° to -5° range.

Tuesday, continued cold with sunny skies and a high of 17°

Tuesday night, mostly clear and cold with a low of 9°

We'll see sunny skies for Wednesday and a high of 35° but a front moves in and brings precipitation with it. Right now it appears to be a wintry mix for Wednesday night and Thursday but we will watch that over the next few days.
