Snow on April 15th

Are you kidding me???

Snow has been flying here on the Cumberland Plateau of Tennessee for the last hour or so. We're currently hovering at 35 degrees with a strong northerly winds gusting near 20 mph.

We've measured around .02'' of rain/snow mix.

I must tell each of you that I am back after taking a little time off. The great news is my wonderful wife is pregnant! We are expecting in the fall! **WOOO-HOOO**

Our garden and grounds around our home are looking awesome....with the EXCEPTION of this cold snap the last 10 days or so, the Spring Season has been glorious.

The outlook for the rest of our week is for a very nice warming trend as high temperatures by the weekend will be over 70. I am so ready for the great weather and will post some awesome spring pictures very soon!

Check out my new, revamped blog site and feel free to leave comments and use my e-mail to leave me messages.

Glad to have you back, and congrats on the future addition.

It also snowed in Sparta on Good Friday right before the sun went down, it lasted for about 20 minutes and was fairly heavy, but obviously it was too warm to stick to anything. Nice to look at.

I'm curious, do you have any figures on how much rain we got with that system over the weekend?
