Dry Week Ahead

Another beautiful day in the books for us in Middle Tennessee.

The good ol' Bermuda high is keeping us dry through at least the weekend. Our friends over at the National Weather Service Blog don't see any decent precipitation coming in until Monday or Tuesday of NEXT WEEK!

I've looked at the latest crop report and our rainfall amount is 7.71" below normal this year. Some areas in Southern Middle Tennessee are more than 10" behind. Farmers in several counties are reporting almost a 'drought-like' situation. I'm beginning to see several brown spots in our lawn due to the dry conditions. Hopefully, this isn't a sign of things to come for this summer. While the sunny days and cool nights are nice, they do have a downside.
