Dean On Land In Mexico

Here is a GREAT GRAPHIC from the fine folks over at News 2 in Nashville, TN that puts Hurricane Dean into perspective. Look at the chart above and absorb exactly what it says. Camille, Katrina, and Andrew are the three most devastating hurricanes in American History. Yet, Dean is even more powerful (according to barometric pressure).

You can get updates on Dean by clicking the Hurricane Dean link on the top right of my blog.

Dean is on land in Mexico. It will go on into the Bay of Campeche and re-strengthen into a Category 3 and strike Central Mexico. Some are even talking about the possibility of Dean crossing Mexico into the Pacific. What a monster storm.

If you get time, check out Jim Cantore on The Weather Channel. His reports are quite interesting.
