Hot 7-day Forecast!

Here's a 7-day forecast for Nashville. As you can see, the 'coolest' high temperature is 96 on Friday. For us here in the higher elevations of the Cumberland Plateau region, our forecast highs are about 4-5 degrees cooler.

Another Air Quality Alert has been issued for the Nashville area. Also, going back to the hot temperatures again, Nashville hit 100 degrees 4-days in a row. See this story from the NWS-Nashville.

The last time any location in Tennessee saw rain was on Thursday and that was minor amounts in Southern portions of Middle Tennessee. Pulaski had .33 and Lynchburg had .20...this information is courtesy of the CoCoRaHS observers.

Lastly, my family took a short trip to Chicago for a cousin's wedding. I'll post some great pictures from that trip later.
