All Eyes Are On The Carolinas

While it seems to National Hurricane Center is downplaying the latest system, others believe the low pressure in the Atlantic about 375 miles south-southwest of Bermuda is poised to become Hurricane Gabrielle in the next few days.

Conventional wisdom places this storm somewhere between the upper parts of North Carolina down into South Carolina. The most interesting part of this is the storm will travel over the very warm Gulf Stream. This could lead to quick intesification.

If I were a homeowner or business owner on the Atlantic Coast, I would be keeping up with the latest on this possible major storm!
