Rainfall Numbers

We've recorded:

......1.37" Since Midnight
......2.78" In first four days of April
.....12.59 January 1st to March 31st
.....15.37 Since January 1st until today
....we are .74 inches BEHIND!...I know, I am surprised, too!


Monthly Averages:

January 5.13...
Februray 4.72...
March 5.66
and thus far in April is .60 (April's average is: 4.54)

Happy to see that the rainfall totals are catching up to normal, I know last year was below expectations. Also glad to see that Cookeville was spared any severe weather problems.

Our rain down here has been very beneficial because it's in moderate, steady batches and not the big cells where 3/4 of the precip just runs off before it gets a chance to soak in.
