What A Sunday!

It is just beautiful here at 7 a.m. in the Highlands of Tennessee. Current temperature on my station is 59.4° with no wind. We'll top out in the mid 80's before the day is done. Much of the same for Memorial Day but with an increased chance for showers and more humid conditions.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

National Hurricane Preparedness Week starts today and runs through May 31st.

Sunday is Hurricane History Day
Monday is Storm Surge Day
Tuesday is High Winds Day
Wednesday is Inland Flooding Day
Thursday is Forecast Process Day
Friday is Disaster Prevention Day
Saturday is Take Action Day

Awesome job by the folks at NOAA putting all this information together.

We'll head to the lake for some fun and 'r&r' today after church this morning.

Finally, in Nashville, an Air Quality Alert has been issued for sensitive groups such as the elderly, babies, those with compromised breathing.

Make it a great Sunday morning. If you surfing on the net this morning and want to see an awesome church service, check out our services at 8:30 am and 10:30 am.
