Fantastic Weather Continues!

Warm, sunny afternoons will continue for us along with cool nights.  We expect highs in the lower 80's today, but do see a slight cool down (highs in the upper 70's) for the weekend.  Lows will be mainly in the 50's!  No rain over the next 7 days.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

There is a news story floating out there suggesting some Texas Gulf Coast landowners who lost their homes due to Hurricane Ike may not be allowed to rebuild.  I have mixed feelings about that.  While you would want to rebuild your home, why in the world do you build in such a vulnerable area?

Speaking of Ike, the Houston Chronicle and KHOU-TV have both done excellent work.

Hey Michael,

Nice weather down here in FL too, finally; I actually drove to work this morning with the windows down!

Good question about rebuilding. When we look at the Florida coastline we see that it's just becoming more and more jam-packed all the time, in spite of Andrew, Charley, Wilma, etc. Not to mention how many folks are now sitting on or around the San Andreas. I guess it makes life interesting but then I'm not an insurance writer!
