Very Cold Morning!

Temperatures as of this post (6:50 am) are hovering around 28° here in Cookeville.  We've been below freezing since midnight.  So, any plants that aren't freeze resistant are probably going to die.

Later today, we do expect temperatures to reach a high of 56° and then drop back to near 30° overnight tonight through Thursday morning.  This will create another freeze.  We are seeing a warming trend for the rest of the week and expect highs near 70° by the weekend!

*Latest, Local Forecast*

Had an opportunity to meet Monterey's National Weather Service COOP Observer Keith Phillips yesterday.  I will post more on my visit with him later this week.
