The cold front has passed through our area as I post this. According to the experts, snow chances are likely in my area of eastern Middle Tennessee. They are less likely to the west of us. There is an outside chance of accumulating (20%) snow overnight. Perhaps a dusting in some of the higher elevations toward Monterey and Jamestown.

On this date in 2005, the 2nd largest tornado outbreak in history occurs with 19 twisters across Middle Tennessee. It is the most tornadoes to strike without a fatality. Thanks to Mark Rose at the NWS-Nashville for this weather history.
November has been a mild month with just one day where we've had a high in the 40's...now the next week ahead will give us highs in 40's. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr....
