Windy Morning, Heavy Rain Later

Winds are strong and gusty this morning across Tennessee.  We've seen 20+ mph gusts here at my station.  You can also view all the information on My Weather Station LIVE.

We are watching a strong cold front move toward our area.  The expectation is that it will cross the Cookeville area later tonight bringing in heavy rainfall.  The strong winds will continue all day long.  Take great care if you're on the roads later tonight.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

Snow chances return behind the front.  I think it is more the flurry type activity rather than an accumulating snow...sorry kids!

Check out the Cookeville-Putnam County Emergency Management Weather Page for all sorts of weather information.  Radar sites, Weather Warnings, 5-day forecasts, Cookeville Webcam, etc.
