A Welcomed Warm Up Ahead..

After lows this morning of 11° here in Cookeville, TN, we'll warm to the middle 30's this afternoon.

Today's high under a bright, sunny sky will feel great compared to the last few days.  We'll be near 50 for Thursday and near 60 on Friday.

Don't get used to the warm weather because a cold front brings us more seasonable weather (40's and 20's) for the weekend.  The first of next week will probably see a return of winter precipitation.

Yesterday's snow event was a bit of a surprise.  There was a 20% chance of flurries, but the length of time snow fell as well as the amount wasn't originally forecasted.

*Latest, Local Forecast*

Will be back later with more...
