Some Shower Activity

As promised in yesterday's post, we did see some showers come through.

A LITTLE RAIN
A light band of rain showers (most seeing less than .05") with some thunder slid through the Cookeville area about an hour ago. Some heavier, embedded thundershowers were to our south in Grundy County and near Chattanooga. Most of these shower and storms were moving eastward at around 40 mph. The heavier storms could contain small hail and winds to 30 mph. They should die down around dark.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK
Expect a nice evening ahead after the showers move through your area. Overnight low around 60° with highs reaching the middle 80's in the Upper Cumberland on Friday, the same for Saturday, and 81° on Sunday!  Great weekend ahead!
