...A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR EASTERN MIDDLE
TENNESSEE LATE TONIGHT THROUGH MID AFTERNOON TUESDAY...

.A LOW PRESSURE AREA WILL MOVE ALONG THE GULF COASTAL AREA TONIGHT
AND TUESDAY AND CREATE THE LIKELIHOOD FOR AN ACCUMULATING SNOW OVER
EASTERN PARTS OF MIDDLE TENNESSEE.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 3 PM CST
TUESDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A WINTER
WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 3 PM CST
TUESDAY.

* GEOGRAPHIC AREA: ACCUMULATING SNOW IS MOST LIKELY IN AN AREA
GENERALLY EAST OF A LINE FROM JAMESTOWN...TO COOKEVILLE...TO
JUST EAST OF MANCHESTER. THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CROSSVILLE.

* ACCUMULATIONS: AN INCH OF SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED ACROSS
THE ADVISORY AREA...WITH LOCAL AMOUNTS UP TO 2 INCHES...
ESPECIALLY ALONG THE CUMBERLAND PLATEAU...BETWEEN CROSSVILLE
...FALL CREEK FALLS AND COALMONT.

* TIMING: A MIX OF RAIN AND SNOW WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT...CHANGING
TO ALL SNOW BY SUNRISE...AND CONTINUING INTO MID AFTERNOON
TUESDAY.

* IMPACTS: TEMPERATURES WILL FALL TO THE UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S
LATE TONIGHT AND EARLY TUESDAY...AND WILL ONLY CREEP INTO THE
MID 30S BY MID AFTERNOON. THUS...EXPECT SNOW TO ACCUMULATE ON
AREA ROADWAYS...ESPECIALLY ALONG SECONDARY ROADS...BRIDGES AND
OVERPASSES.
