Big Rains Hit Cookeville

SUNSHINE TODAY: After nearly 6" of rain in the last two days, we'll see sunshine make an appearance today with highs around 80°. There are reports of even more rain (8" plus) in the northwest sections of Putnam County.

DRIVER SAFETY: Be careful if you're out and about today. Schools are opening 2 hours late in the Cookeville area. Other counties are either late or closed due to flooding.

NASHVILLE FLOODING: Excellent article over at Examiner on all the Nashville area flooding, including the entire Opryland complex.
