Finally below 90°

STREAK BROKEN:
After 8 straight days of soaring above 90° (average daily high was 96°), we finally failed to reach 90° this afternoon. Today's high was 'just' 89.3° at 3:30 this afternoon.

WHEN DO HIGHS OCCUR:
Typically during the summer you'll see our highs occur later in the afternoon hours. Generally, they are from 4:00 to 5:00 pm.

HEAVY RAINS POSSIBLE
Our outlook over the next 7 days is for cooler temps (lows tonight in the lower to mid 60's across the region) with rainfall moving in for both Tuesday and Wednesday. Best chance for heavy rain is on Wednesday. We'll stay in the upper 80's to near 90° for the period.
