Severe Storms LATER This Afternoon

You may hear rumbles of thunder this morning and see some heavy rain along with some pea-sized hail. This isn't the main, organized threat of severe weather. That event occurs later this afternoon. At this point, this morning, the best chances for severe weather will occur mainly in the 4pm to 8pm range in the Cookeville area, 2pm to 6pm in the areas around Nashville and vicinity.

Please understand THIS IS THE TIME when you should be making your severe weather plans, including where to take shelter should it be necessary. Today is NOT the day to be unaware of the weather
