Strong Storms Possible

We've seen round one of the strong storms this morning with heavy rain and hail. Round one came through around 6:15 am (see graphic below). We saw/heard some minor hail (in the pea-sized range) with the strong weather. Here at my station, we've measure just under a 1/2" of rainfall (.43).

The rest of today, you can expect a 70% chance of thunderstorms. The most likely time to see strong storms is later this afternoon in the 3pm to 10pm range. It will be warm today with highs reaching near 80°. We are under a Severe Thunderstorm Watch this morning until 12 noon.

Overnight, we drop down to just a 20% chance of storms with a low of 53° by Friday morning.

On Friday, a 50/50 shot at thunderstorms and a high of 71°.

Ditto for Saturday with a warmer day. The high will be 83°.
