Strong Storms Possible Later Today and Tonight

Storms will form in the late afternoon hours for much of middle Tennessee with the greatest threat over the western sections. The main hazards will be damaging winds and large hail. Again, the biggest threat of severe weather will be west of the I-65 area. This DOES NOT include the Cookeville area.

REST OF WEEK DRY:
After the front pushes through the area, expect us to dry out with slightly cooler temperatures for Tuesday and Wednesday. We'll stay in a dry pattern through the weekend as temperatures begin to warm.

Today (Monday): Storms becoming more likely in the late afternoon with a high of 81°. Precip chances are 60% and winds should be fairly light today.

Tonight: 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms mainly before midnight. Low of 58°.

Tuesday: Sunny and cooler with a high of 79°

Rest of 7-day is below!
