Very chilly temperatures overnight across Cookeville and into the higher elevations. Frost (patchy and light) is expected along the Highland Rim and Cumberland Plateau. With dew point temperatures in the 33° - 35° ranges and the lowest temperatures expected to be around 35°, we do expect a light frost to occur. The best chances are in lower spots (like valleys, etc.) in the region. The frost isn't expected to last very long (about 2 hours at most).
Monday's highs will hit 72°, which is about 6° warmer than Sunday's high of 66°. By Tuesday, we should push 80° and then 82° for both Wednesday and Thursday. I do expect this to be a dry period at least through Thursday night.
