Holy Hurricane Batman (Gustav Growing)

Hurricane Gustav is pulling away from the Grand Caymans and headed toward the western end of Cuba.  Overnight, he exploded into a Category 3 hurricane and could be a Category 4 by the time he swipes the west coast of Cuba.

Enjoy this beautiful day...we sure have enjoyed the last several days. Went to my parent's houseboat on Friday evening and stayed until Saturday evening. Had a beautiful Saturday to spend on Center Hill Lake!

Sunday, we enjoyed a great church service at our home church.

Afterwards, I got the lawn mowed and few tree limbs pruned. Then we went to a wonderful couple's home for our small group. There, we enjoyed quite a meal with ribs, chicken, and many wonderful side dishes! Usually, we just snack and have Bible Study. I asked our host if he could cook like this every Sunday night!!! :)

We were going to test drive a houseboat on Center Hill Lake on Sunday. Moved that test drive up to last evening due to impending weather conditions for this Sunday. Here is that boat.

My parents have signed a contract on it. I'll be taking reservations from my readers to go on the lake! :)

Snow In Kentucky

Drove up to Kentucky early this morning and saw snow falling on Lake Cumberland.

Made the trip with my parents to look at a Sunstar Houseboat.

This particular boat is nice....very nice....

The snow was light to moderate at times and was not accumulating on the ground as the temperature was steady around 35°
